Paoli Hospital

In 2005, Mainline Health System commissioned RDLA to design the new 280,000 square foot addition to Paoli Hospital.  With its interest in and commitment to Evidence Based Design, Mainline Health System and RDLA collaborated with The Center for Health Design and became a participant in the Center’s Pebble Project program.  As a Pebble Project participant, the hospital identified a number of issues affecting patient and staff safety and wellbeing that could be addressed through design strategies in the new addition including the design of patient rooms, nurses stations and operating suites.
